How long do GMAT scores take?

GMAC says the Official Score Report is typically available in your mba.com account within three to five days after you complete the GMAT. In some cases, scoring can take up to 20 days. What happens on test day?

The current GMAT testing experience provides an unofficial score after the exam, but your Official Score Report arrives later through your mba.com account. You choose scores after you know the result

The current GMAT allows you to decide where to send scores after you know how you performed. GMAC notes that you do not need to cancel a score simply to prevent schools from seeing it; if you do not send the Official Score Report to a program, that program does not receive it through the normal score-sending process.

How quickly do schools receive a sent score?

Current GMAC support guidance says schools typically receive a score within about eight hours after you submit the report, once the Official Score is reportable.
