What this calculator does

Formula and worked method

Each subject is classified separately. All four subject scores must be at least 145 for the national GED passing rule. The result is recalculated immediately after you submit the form, and the displayed precision does not create extra certainty beyond the values entered.

Limits, privacy, and official decisions

GED subject scores are not averaged to cure a score below 145. Confirm state requirements and obtain official results through GED Testing Service.
