November 2026 LSAT: key dates
LSAC lists the November 2026 LSAT primary test dates as November 11, 12, 13 and 14. The registration deadline is October 1, 2026. LSAT Argumentative Writing opens on November 3, scheduling opens on October 27, and the scheduled score-release date is December 2, 2026.

Why the October 1 deadline matters
For most administrations, the registration deadline is also tied to important accommodation, refund and test-date-change milestones. Candidates who need testing accommodations should not treat the ordinary registration deadline as the beginning of the accommodation process. Review documentation and submit requests early enough to meet LSAC's stated deadline.
Current delivery model
For the 2026–2027 cycle, LSAC is moving toward in-center testing for almost all candidates. Limited remote-testing exceptions may apply in specific circumstances described by LSAC, including certain disability-related situations and some distance/capacity cases. Do not assume that past remote-testing practices still apply.
Current LSAT multiple-choice format
The standard LSAT multiple-choice test has four 35-minute sections. Three are scored: two Logical Reasoning sections and one Reading Comprehension section. A fourth variable section is unscored and is used by LSAC to validate future questions. There is a 10-minute intermission between the second and third sections.

September 13–30 study priorities
- Take an official diagnostic. Use current LawHub material and identify whether accuracy, pacing or question recognition is the main limitation.
- Build a Logical Reasoning error taxonomy. Separate conclusion mistakes, conditional reasoning, causal reasoning, sampling, comparison and scope errors.
- Build a Reading Comprehension passage map. Record viewpoint, purpose, paragraph function and evidence location.
- Add timed sections gradually. Do not jump from untimed review directly to repeated full tests.
- Review more than you test. The value of a practice section comes from understanding why the credited answer is supported and why attractive alternatives fail.

Score-release planning for applications
LSAC lists December 2 as the November score-release date. A law school controls its own application deadline and processing rules, so do not assume that a December 2 score automatically satisfies every deadline. Work backward from each target school's requirements and allow time for score processing and the rest of the application file.
