What this calculator does

Calculate a credit-weighted GPA using the weighted grade-point value assigned by the student’s school. It performs only the arithmetic described on this page. Enter values from the same course, practice set, score report, or scoring scale so the result remains meaningful.

Formula and worked method

For each course, weighted grade points are multiplied by credits. Total weighted quality points are divided by total credits. The result is recalculated immediately after you submit the form, and the displayed precision does not create extra certainty beyond the values entered.

How to use the result

1. Check the labels, score range, units, and grading or exam version.
2. Enter the requested values without mixing raw, percentage, percentile, and scaled scores.
3. Calculate once, then independently check the formula or source document.
4. Use the output to plan the next practice task or question for the responsible school or exam provider.

Limits, privacy, and official decisions

Honors, AP, IB, and dual-enrollment weighting differs across schools. Enter the values from the official local GPA policy; this tool does not choose the weighting system. Exams.fit is an independent educational resource and is not affiliated with the named exam owner. The calculation runs in your browser, needs no external API, and this tool does not save the entered scores. Official score reports, transcripts, admission decisions, credit awards, certification decisions, and licensing results come only from the responsible organization.
