What this calculator does

Find the points and remaining-work percentage needed to finish a points-based course at a target grade. It performs only the arithmetic described on this page. Enter values from the same course, practice set, score report, or scoring scale so the result remains meaningful.

Formula and worked method

Target points equal target percentage × planned total points. Current earned points are subtracted, then the tool shows the rate required on remaining points. The result is recalculated immediately after you submit the form, and the displayed precision does not create extra certainty beyond the values entered.
