What the HiSET exam is

The HiSET is a high school equivalency assessment for people who need an alternative pathway to demonstrate academic skills comparable with those of a high school graduate. Five current subtests

The exam has five core subject areas. Mathematics is 90 minutes. Science is 80 minutes. Social Studies is 70 minutes.
